Last week, we decided to go on a quick day trip to Lichfield as she had never visited, and after a delightful (but rainy!) walk about town and stroll through the park we decided to grab a quick drink before our train back. 15 On The Corner is an independent coffee shop right in the centre of town serving teas, coffees, cakes and a selection of hot food. We visited about ten minutes before they were closing (we hadn’t realised the time, oops) so we’re very grateful that they were so kind to let us rest our feet there even though they were busy!
The inside had a really homely and cute feel with burlap sacks and even a garden full of beautiful flowers which I loved!
She decided to order a mocha and when I saw that they had bread pudding, I just couldn’t resist! The mocha was just what I needed to be able to face the rain again and the bread pudding was delicious and she said it just like her nan makes (For her, that’s high praise indeed!)! You can never go wrong with a bread pudding and homely desserts like this fit in really well with the warm feel of the cafe.
